Chicken brick
Description: A chicken brick makes a lovely green wedding gift, housewarming present, eco gift for birthdays or green christmas present!! This wonderful chicken roasting dish is made at the Muchelney pottery, designed by John Leach, grandson of renowned potter Bernard Leach. These stoneware pots are hand thrown and then wood fired in a traditional fashion. For the perfect Sunday lunch, this is definitely the best and most beautiful way to roast. Use the brick to cook any meat (chicken, beef, lamb etc). First brush the base with oil and put in a hot oven and add the meat after ten minutes. The first few times of use, put grease-proof paper under the meat. You can also remove the lid for the last ten minutes to brown the meat. The brick should be washed with very hot water but no detergent making the cleaning of it eco-friendly. A lovely hand crafted christmas, housewarming, birthday or eco wedding gift.
